IT APPEARS TO BE SHAPING UP TO BE A DECENT EASTER WEEKEND AS THE FLOWERS WERE IN BLOOM TODAY AT FLINCHBAUGH ORCHARD AND FARM MARKET IN YORK COUNTY. BEAUTIFUL SIGHT AND IT WAS A BEAUTIFUL, GOOD FRIDAY. IT WAS SO NICE OUT THERE. METEOROLOGIST MIKE SUSKO HERE NOW TIMING THINGS OUT FOR THE HOLIDAY WEEKEND. MIKE. YEAH, JERRY. AND IT WAS A BEAUTIFUL DAY TODAY. AND AS WE GO INTO TOMORROW, TEMPERATURES ARE GOING TO GET EVEN WARMER INTO THE 80S HERE. SO IF YOU LIKE TODAY YOU’RE REALLY GOING TO LIKE THE TEMPERATURES TOMORROW. HOWEVER, FOR SATURDAY COULD SEE A NICE LATE SHOWER OR EVEN A THUNDER SHOWER AS WE HEAD INTO THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING. BUT NOTHING WHERE YOU HAVE TO CANCEL ANY PLANS. DRY AND COOLER FOR YOUR EASTER SUNDAY. COOLER, AS IN WE’RE NOT GOING TO GET TO THE 80S, WILL STILL BE IN THE UPPER 60S, SO IT’S STILL A NICE DAY, BUT IT WON’T BE AS WARM AS SATURDAY AND ABOVE AVERAGE TEMPERATURES CONTINUE INTO NEXT WEEK AS WELL. SO AS WE LOOK AT YOUR EASTER EGG HUNT FORECAST FOR SATURDAY AND SUNDAY, AGAIN, YOU CAN SEE THAT 82 THERE FOR THAT HIGH ACROSS THE SUSQUEHANNA VALLEY, IT WILL BE MOSTLY CLOUDY WITH A ISOLATED THUNDER SHOWER THERE, PARTICULARLY IN THE AFTERNOON. I CAN’T RULE OUT ONE AS WELL AS A STRAY SHOWER IN THE MORNING, BUT IT LOOKS LIKE THE BEST CHANCE IS IN THE AFTERNOON. SUNDAY. IT’S JUST DRY AND COOLER ACROSS THE AREA. HARRISBURG RIGHT NOW WE’VE GOT THE CLOUDS IN PLACE. CURRENT TEMPERATURE IN THE CAPITAL CITY IS AT 59 DEGREES, AND WE’RE GOING TO PROBABLY HOLD THERE AS WE GO THROUGH THE EVENING HOURS HERE. TEMPERATURES ARE GOING TO BE IN THE UPPER 50S AND LOW 60S ACROSS THE AREA TONIGHT. AND AS WE ZOOM ON OUT, THE CLOSEST WE HAVE ANY PRECIPITATION AS WELL. TO THE NORTH, ACTUALLY IN TORONTO, THERE IN BUFFALO, NEW YORK, WE’RE ALSO GOING TO BE SEEING THAT WARM AIR CONTINUE TO BUILD IN AS WE GO THROUGH TOMORROW. SO TONIGHT, VERY MILD TEMPERATURES ARE GOING TO BE IN THE UPPER 50S AND LOW 60S. SO THAT IS GOING TO BE ALMOST A SUMMER NIGHT ACROSS THE AREA. TOMORROW MORNING WE’LL SEE TEMPERATURES AROUND 70 DEGREES. STRAY SHOWER CAN’T BE RULED OUT. BUT MOST OF US ARE DRY WITH A MOSTLY CLOUDY SKY. TEMPERATURES WILL INCREASE TO 82 IN THE AFTERNOON WITH A MOSTLY CLOUDY SKY AND ISOLATED THUNDER SHOWERS AS WE HEAD INTO THE AFTERNOON HOURS. TOMORROW. YOUR WEATHER AND HEALTH UPDATE. ALSO, IF YOU ARE AN ALLERGY SUFFERER WITH THE TREE POLLEN, IT’S GOING TO BE HIGH TOMORROW, SO JUST BE AWARE OF THAT. MOLD LEVELS ARE LOW. AIR QUALITY IS ALSO GOING TO BE MODERATE ACROSS THE AREA. AND THE UV INDEX WILL BE LOW BECAUSE THE CLOUD COVER AS WE GO INTO YOUR SATURDAY. LET’S TIME THIS OUT. HERE YOU CAN SEE THE CLOUDS INCREASING OVERNIGHT TONIGHT AND INTO TOMORROW MORNING. A STRAY SHOWER NOT OUT OF THE QUESTION THERE. AS WE GO THROUGH AGAIN THE MORNING AND AFTERNOON. BUT MOST OF US, AS YOU CAN SEE, PROBABLY GOING TO BE DRY, SO NO REASON TO CANCEL ANY PLANS. IF YOU DO GET UNDER ONE OF THEM THOUGH, JUST KNOW IT WILL BE A VERY QUICK EVENT AND MOVE ON. AND THEN AS WE GO INTO YOUR SUNDAY, THAT COLD FRONT IS WELL TO THE SOUTH. WE’RE GOING TO BE SEEING THE COOLER AIR MOVE IN FOR YOUR SUNDAY, BUT IT’S DRIER ON EASTER ITSELF. TEMPERATURES GETTING INTO THE 60S. BUT YOUR EGG HUNT FORECAST TOMORROW 76 AT NOONTIME AND THEN 80 DEGREES THERE AROUND 2:00 ACROSS THE AREA. AND TEMPERATURES ON SUNDAY AND MONDAY ARE GOING TO BE AT 68 DEGREES, WHICH IS SLIGHTLY ABOVE AVERAGE FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR. THAT AVERAGE IS 65. BUT THIS IS THE COOLEST AIR WE’RE GOING TO BE SEEING. NEXT WEEK WILL BE ON SUNDAY AND MONDAY. I’LL STEP OUT OF THE WAY. HERE YOU CAN SEE 70, A TRAIN OF 70 COMING OUR WAY TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY AND FRIDAY. SO WE’RE GOING TO CERTAINLY SEE I THINK A LOT OF PLANTS BLOOM IF THEY HAVEN’T ALREADY ARE REALLY STARTING TO GROW HERE. WE’RE ALSO GOING TO PROBABLY SEE HIGH POLLEN LEVELS NEXT WEEK THERE TOO. BUT WE DO HAVE A CHANCE OF GETTING SOME RAIN AS WE GO INTO YOUR MONDAY. NOT WIDESPREAD, BUT IT IS GOING TO BE RAIN NONETHELESS WITH SOME SCATTERED SHOWERS, IT LOOKS LIKE THE BEST CHANCE THOUGH WILL BE ACTUALLY MONDAY NIGHT AS A COLD FRONT COMES THROUGH THE AREA THERE INTO EARLY TUESDAY MORNING. SO THAT’S OUR BEST SHOT FOR SOME RAIN WITHIN THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS. BUT OVERALL, IN THE TEN DAY FORECAST, THE BEST CHANCE FOR RAIN WILL ACTUALLY BE NOT TOMORROW OR SUNDAY, BUT THE FOLLOWING WEEKEND. SO WE GOT ABOUT. WE GOT TO WAIT ABOUT EIGHT DAYS OR SO BEFORE WE ACTUALLY HAVE A CHANCE AT GETTING SOME WIDESPREAD DECENT RAIN HERE, BUT UNTIL THEN, 82 TOMORROW, 68 ON YOUR SUNDAY AS WELL AS MONDAY AND THEN 70 TUESDAY WEDNESDAY AND
